About the gateway

MB7IJB runs on a Motorola GM1280 and a Raspberry Pi 4 (kindly provided by G7HMV). It connects traditional analogue FM operators to AllStar / FreeSTAR so people can talk across the usual RF and internet bridge worlds.

Operating instructions

This gateway is usually linked to the FreeSTAR network. You’re welcome to unlink and move it:

Disconnect all links: send *73
Link a new node: send *3 then the node-number

Listen for the single beep after disconnecting before starting a new link.
